Advantages of RS anti-radiation brick compared to lead plate and barite mortar

1. Lead plate

– Ability to block rays (less than 0.5 μSv/h): Only achieved with 3mm . lead plate

2. Rubber

3. Barite mortar

– Construction time Difficulty in construction: Very long construction time (monthly for 1 standard X-ray room), difficult in construction due to having to plaster many layers of barite to achieve thickness, risk of cracking causing damage. ray escape and sagging barite very high difficult to overcome. The form after plastering is bad, must cover the wall with plastic.

– Ray absorption over time: Very little decrease.

4. RS . anti-radiation brick

– Ability to block rays (less than 0.5 μSv/h): 5cm thick RS bricks plus a tiled barite layer, the radiation dose rate index is always less than 0.3 μSv/h

– Construction time, construction difficulty: Construction time is as fast as lead plate, simple as normal brick, plastered with sand cement so the wall surface is not cracked, very beautiful.

– Ray absorption over time: Very little decrease.

– Reusable when repairing, or changing the design of the x-ray room.
